ABSTRACT

Los trastornos alimentarios y de deglución afectan considerablemente la calidad de vida de niños y niñas con discapacidades neuromotoras. La pandemia de COVID-19 agravó estos desafíos al limitar el acceso a la atención en salud. Este estudio evaluó un modelo educativo de aprendizaje a distancia en terapia oral-motora, dirigido a personas cuidadoras de niños y niñas con discapacidades neuromotoras en Mérida, México. Participaron incialmente treinta personas cuidadoras de niños y niñas entre 2 y 12 años de edad con trastornos alimentarios y de deglución, quienes recibían atención en siete instituciones. 23 participantes completaron el programa. Se usó un diseño cuasiexperimental de prueba pre y post. El programa incluyó sesiones teóricas y prácticas. Los resultados mostraron mejoras significativas en el conocimiento teórico y en las competencias prácticas, con niveles de competencia superiores al 80%. Aun así, se reconocen limitaciones del estudio como el tamaño de la muestra y la ausencia de un grupo de control. Abordar estas limitaciones en investigaciones futuras fortalecerá la evidencia sobre la efectividad de este enfoque innovador centrado en la persona cuidadora, crucial para gestionar trastornos alimentarios y de deglución de manera efectiva y mejorar la calidad de vida de niños y niñas con discapacidades neuromotoras.


Eating and swallowing disorders are prevalent among children with neuromotor disabilities, significantly impacting their overall quality of life. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the challenges by restricting access to health care, underscoring the necessity for innovative solutions with caregiver involvement. This study investigated the effectiveness of a distance learning educational model in oral-motor therapy for primary caregivers of children with neuromotor impairments in Mérida, Mexico. The quasiexperimental pretest-posttest design included thirty primary caregivers of children aged 2 to 12 with feeding and swallowing disorders from seven institutions. Twenty-three participants completed the program. The program encompassed theoretical sessions on various aspects of oral motor therapy and practical sessions focusing on hands on training. Results revealed substantial enhancements in theoretical knowledge and practical competencies among caregivers, with competence levels exceeding 80% in all evaluated activities. Despite these positive outcomes, the study acknowledges limitations such as a small sample size and the absence of a control group. Addressing these constraints through future research endeavors will bolster the evidence supporting the effectiveness of this innovative caregivercentric approach. Ultimately, integrating caregivers into the care team is imperative for improving the quality of life for children with neuromotor disabilities and effectively managing eating and swallowing disorders.


Os distúrbios da alimentação e da deglutição afetam significativamente a qualidade de vida das crianças com deficiências neuromotoras. A pandemia da COVID-19 exacerbou esses desafios desafios, sendo que limitou o acesso ao atendimento. Este estudo avaliou um modelo educacional de ensino à distância sobre terapia oral-motora, orientado a cuidadores primários de crianças com deficiências neuromotoras em Mérida, México. Trinta cuida- dores de crianças de 2 a 12 anos de idade com distúrbios de alimentação e deglutição de sete instituições participaram, sendo que 23 deles concluíram o programa. Um estudo quase experimental de préteste-pós-teste foi realizado. O programa incluiu sessões teóricas e práticas. Os resultados mostraram melhorias significativas no conhecimento teórico e nas competências práticas, com níveis de competência acima de 80%. Contudo, são reconhecidas algumas limitações do estudo, como o pequeno tamanho da amostra e a falta de um grupo de controle. A abordagem dessas limitações em pesquisas futuras fortalecerá as evidências respeito da eficácia dessa abordagem inovadora centrada no cuidador, crucial para melhorar a qualidade de vida das crianças com deficiências neuromotoras e gerenciar os distúrbios de alimentação e deglutição de forma eficaz.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyze films and documentaries about eating disorders from the last twenty years, identifying the way they approach the topic as well as their relevance for didactic use in teaching the health field. Methods: a descriptive study, whose data collection was carried out on the main streaming and video platforms, resulting in the survey of 60 media. Of these, only 25 had audio/subtitles in Portuguese (inclusion criteria). scientific relevance was analyzed considering psychopathological and epidemiological aspects of these disorders. A questionnaire about the plot, characters and descriptive data analysis were used. Results: most media were dramas about female teenagers who tried to conform to beauty stereotypes, whose symptoms portrayed converged with current medical diagnostic manuals. Conclusions: in practical terms, a classificatory list of 11 media was prepared that could be used as a teaching resource for teaching this topic in the health field.


RESUMEN Objetivos: analizar películas y documentales sobre trastornos alimentarios de los últimos veinte años, identificando la forma en que abordan el tema, así como su relevancia para su uso didáctico en la enseñanza del campo de la salud. Métodos: estudio descriptivo, cuya recolección de datos se realizó en las principales plataformas de streaming y video, dando como resultado la encuesta a 60 medios. De estos, sólo 25 tenían audio/subtítulos en portugués (criterios de inclusión). Se analizó la relevancia científica considerando aspectos psicopatológicos y epidemiológicos de estos trastornos. Se utilizó un cuestionario sobre la trama, los personajes y el análisis de datos descriptivos. Resultados: la mayoría de los medios fueron dramas sobre mujeres adolescentes que intentaban ajustarse a estereotipos de belleza, cuyos síntomas retratados convergían con los manuales de diagnóstico médico vigentes. Conclusiones: en términos prácticos, se elaboró un listado clasificatorio de 11 medios que podrían ser utilizados como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza de este tema en el campo de la salud.

Métodos: estudo descritivo, cuja coleta de dados foi realizada nas principais plataformas de streaming e vídeos, resultando no levantamento de 60 mídias. Dessas, apenas 25 tinham áudio/legenda em português (critério de inclusão). A pertinência científica foi analisada considerando aspectos psicopatológicos e epidemiológicos desses transtornos. Utilizaram-se um questionário sobre o enredo, as personagens e análise descritiva dos dados. Resultados: a maioria das mídias eram dramas sobre adolescentes do sexo feminino que tentavam adequar-se aos estereótipos de beleza, cujos sintomas retratados convergiam com os manuais de diagnósticos médicos atuais. Conclusões: em termos práticos, elaborou-se uma lista classificatória de 11 mídias que poderão ser utilizadas como recurso didático para o ensino desse tema no campo da saúde.

Introduction: Regarding the origin of Eating Disorders, different psychological variables such as the personality, have been identified as risk factors for the onset and subsequent development of these pathologies. This study aimed to analyse the relationships between personality and different risk variables for the development of ED in the population of female students without disorders. Method: Participants included 627 women, Spanish university students, who completed the Eating Disorder Inventory-3 (EDI-3) and the Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI). Correlation and regression analyses were conducted in order to observe patterns of common variation among the variables, and to determine the contribution of the personality traits in the explanation of the variables. Results: Neuroticism correlated significantly with all scales and is the main predictor of the risk scales (drive for thinness, bulimia and body dissatisfaction), and the seven psychological scales. The remaining factors showed negative correlations with all of the scales. Extraversion was the main predictor variable in the explained variance of interpersonal insecurity and interpersonal alienation. In addition, conscientiousness and agreeableness demonstrated an effect on different scales in combination with other factors. Conclusion: The study sustained the importance of personality in the risk of developing ED. Neuroticism is the factor that is most closely related to the risk variables and psychological constructs which are conceptually relevant in the development and maintenance of these disorders. The study of personality should help in identifying at-risk populations, and will enable adopting solutions aimed at the prevention of ED.


Introducción: En el origen de los trastornos alimentarios han sido identificadas diferentes variables psicológicas como factores de riesgo, como la personalidad, para el inicio y posterior desarrollo de estas patologías. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las relaciones entre la personalidad y diferentes variables de riesgo para el desarrollo de trastornos alimentarios, en la población de mujeres universitarias sin trastornos. Método: Las participantes fueron 627 mujeres, estudiantes universitarias españolas, que completaron el Eating Disorder Inventory-3 (EDI-3) y el Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI). Se realizaron análisis de correlación y regresión para observar los patrones de variación común entre las variables y para determinar la contribución de los rasgos de personalidad en la explicación de las variables. Resultados: El neuroticismo correlacionó significativamente con todas las escalas, y fue la principal variable predictiva en la varianza explicada de las escalas de riesgo (obsesión por la delgadez, bulimia e insatisfacción corporal), y siete escalas psicológicas. Los rasgos de personalidad restantes mostraron correlaciones negativas con todas las escalas. Extraversión fue la principal variable predictora de la varianza explicada de inseguridad interpersonal y alienación personal. Además, responsabilidad y amabilidad mostraron efecto en combinación con otros factores en diferentes variables. Conclusión: El estudio apoyó la importancia de la personalidad en el riesgo de desarrollar trastornos alimentarios. El neuroticismo es el factor que más se relaciona con las variables de riesgo y constructos psicológicos conceptualmente relevantes en el desarrollo y mantenimiento de estos trastornos. El estudio de la personalidad debería ayudar a identificar a las poblaciones de riesgo y adoptar soluciones dirigidas a la prevención.

ABSTRACT

Abstract: In recent years, the number of men suffering from an Eating Disorder (ED) has increased. However, very few studies on ED have been conducted in samples of men. This paper aims to shed some light on this issue by exploring the following questions in a sample of adult men: 1) to analyse the relationships between body and appearance-related self-conscious emotions and ED symptomatology and, 2) to study the differences between a group of men who are at risk of developing an ED and another group of men who are not at risk of developing an ED in body and appearance-related self-conscious emotions. A total of 207 Spanish or Latin American men aged 18-50 years participated. Men who were at risk of developing an ED had more body shame and body guilt than those who were not at risk. However, no statistically significant differences were found between the two groups in body pride. These findings show that, unlike in women, body pride does not seem to play as important a role in these disorders as body shame or body guilt.


Resumen: En los últimos años, ha aumentado el número de hombres que padecen un Trastorno de la Conducta Alimentaria (TCA). Sin embargo, apenas se han realizado estudios sobre TCA con muestras de hombres. Este trabajo pretende arrojar algo de luz a este respecto, explorando las siguientes cuestiones en una muestra de hombres adultos: 1) analizar las relaciones entre las emociones autoconscientes asociadas al cuerpo y a la apariencia y la sintomatología de TCA y, 2) estudiar las diferencias entre un grupo de hombres que están en riesgo de desarrollar un TCA y otro grupo de hombres que no presentan dicho riesgo en las emociones autoconscientes asociadas al cuerpo y a la apariencia. Participaron 207 hombres de entre 18 y 50 años de nacionalidad española o latinoamericana. Los hombres que estaban en riesgo de desarrollar un TCA presentaron más vergüenza corporal y culpa corporal que aquellos que no tenían dicho riesgo. Sin embargo, no se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambos grupos en el orgullo corporal. Estos hallazgos muestran que, a diferencia de lo que ocurre en mujeres, el orgullo corporal no parece desempeñar un papel tan relevante en estos trastornos como el que tienen la vergüenza corporal o la culpa corporal.

Resumen: Objetivo: Explorar el impacto del uso cotidiano de plataformas de videollamadas en las cogniciones, emociones y comportamientos relacionados con la autoimagen en pacientes con Trastornos del Comportamiento Alimentario (TCA) y personas de la población general, durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Métodos: Sesenta y ocho pacientes con TCA en tratamiento y 106 personas de la población general respondieron a un cuestionario diseñado para el estudio a través de Lime Survey; (98.5 y 79.2% respectivamente eran mujeres), con edad promedio de 17.6 (DE:3.47) y 33.5 (DE:9.35) respectivamente. Las pacientes discutieron y explicaron sus respuestas en cinco sesiones de terapia grupal presenciales dirigidas por un psiquiatra. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis temático reflexivo con un enfoque inductivo para determinar las categorías. Resultados: Los pacientes reportaron una mayor incomodidad frente a la cámara, preocupación con la apariencia física, miedo a la crítica, vergüenza y sentimientos de vulnerabilidad, comparados con las personas de la población general. Predominaron los pensamientos negativos sobre la forma y el tamaño del rostro y otras partes del cuerpo y las conductas de chequeo y/o evitación de la imagen corporal, que interfirieron con la concentración y el rendimiento. Conclusión: además del impacto negativo de la pandemia de COVID-19 en la salud mental, la nueva virtualidad desafía a los clínicos a enfrentar dificultades adicionales con la imagen corporal en pacientes con TCA y alerta a la detección de nuevas preocupaciones dismórficas también en la población general.


Abstract: Objective: To explore the impact of video call platforms on physical appearance concerns (cognitions, emotions and behaviors) in Eating Disorders (ED) patients and in general population, during COVID 19 pandemic. Methods: Sixty-eight patients attending a treatment program for ED, and 106 people from the general population responded to a questionnaire designed for the study through Lime Survey; (98.5 and 79.2% respectively were women), with a mean age of 17.6 (SD:3.47) and 33.5 (SD:9.35) respectively. Patients discussed and explained their answers in five in vivo group therapy sessions directed by a psychiatrist. Then, a reflective thematic analysis with an inductive approach to determine the categories was performed. Results: Patients reported a higher discomfort in front of the camera, preoccupation with physical appearance, fear of criticism, embarrassment, and feelings of vulnerability, compared with general population. Negative thoughts about the shape and size of the face and other body parts predominated, as well as body image checking/avoidance behaviors that interfered with concentration and performance. Conclusion: In addition to the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health, the new virtuality challenges clinicians to face additional body image difficulties in ED patients and alerts on the detection of dysmorphic concerns in the general population as well.

Resumen El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una evaluación preliminar de la terapia de remediación cognitiva (TRE) en una paciente con bulimia nerviosa (BN). Bajo un diseño pre-post-tratamiento, la paciente (20 años de edad e índice de masa corporal [IMC] de 22.41) completó cuatro pruebas neuropsicológicas, tres medidas de síntomas de BN y dos de sintomatología psiquiátrica (depresión y ansiedad). Con base a las puntuaciones pre y post TRE fue calculado el cambio clínico objetivo (CCO). Los principales efectos neuropsicológicos se registraron en: flexibilidad de pensamiento, proceso visocontructivo, coherencia central y planificación (CCO = 0.39-0.99). También se identificaron cambios relevantes en las medidas de sintomatología psiquiátrica y de BN (CCO = 0.53-0.88), no así en el IMC. Este estudio suma evidencias respecto a la utilidad de la CRT en el tratamiento multidisciplinario, ya no solo de la anorexia nerviosa, sino que extiende su aplicabilidad a la BN.


Abstract The aim of this study was to perform a preliminary evaluation of cognitive remediation therapy (CRT) in a patient with bulimia nervosa (BN). The participant was 20 years old with a 22.41kg/m2 body mass index (BMI). Under a pre-post treatment design, the patient was administered four neuropsychological tests, three measures of BN symptoms and two of psychiatric symptomatology (depression and anxiety). Based on the pre and post CRT scores, the objective clinical change (OCC) was calculated. The main neuropsychological effects were observed in cognitive flexibility, visoconstructive processing (memory and central coherence) and working memory (OCC = 0,39-0,99). Relevant changes were also identified in the measures of psychiatric symptomatology and BN (OCC = 0,53-0,88), with no change in BMI. This study adds evidence regarding the usefulness of CRT in the multidisciplinary treatment not only of anorexia nervosa, but also extends its applicability to another eating disorder, BN.

ABSTRACT

Abstract Avoidant or Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) is an eating disorder (ED) not common in adults. In this article we present a clinical case of ARFID in a 37-year-old male patient treated in an ED center in Medellin, Colombia; displaying anxious symptoms that began a year earlier and concomitant weight loss, following a traumatic event causing an overall impairment with that patient. Several medical evaluations/examinations looking for organic causes, were excluded. Interventions were implemented by a psychiatry, a psychotherapist using cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), and a nutritionist, all in face-to-face modality, which were carried out weekly for the first three months, then biweekly and subsequently quarterly. each lasting approximately 40-60 minutes. After the set of pharmacological interventions and psychotherapy, a great improvement in the functionality of the patient was observed. Improvement was found with respect to eating in public, food variation and panic attacks. In the absence of guidelines, it is important to use standardized and replicable treatments in this population.


Resumen El trastorno evitativo restrictivo de la ingesta (TERIA) es un trastorno alimentario (TCA) raro en adultos. Se presenta el caso de un hombre de 37 años con TERIA y trastorno de pánico atendido en un centro para TCA en Medellín, Colombia, quien presentó un año de síntomas ansiosos y pérdida de peso después de evento traumático, generando disfuncionalidad. Fue evaluada y excluida organicidad. Se realizaron intervenciones por parte de psiquiatría, psicoterapia con enfoque cognitivo conductual y nutrición, todas en modalidad presencial, las cuales se realizaron semanalmente los primeros tres meses, luego quincenalmente y posteriormente trimestralmente. Cada una con una duración de 40-60 minutos aproximadamente por sesión. Posterior al conjunto de intervenciones farmacológicas y psicoterapia, se observó una gran mejoría la funcionalidad del paciente, se encontró mejoría con respecto a comer en público, variación en los alimentos y ataques de panico. Ante la ausencia de guías de manejo de TERIA en adultos es relevante realizar tratamientos estandarizados que puedan ser replicados.

Introducción. Los niños con trastorno del espectro autista (TEA) presentan dificultades de adaptación a situaciones estresantes, como la pandemia por COVID-19. Objetivo. Evaluar el impacto del primer año de pandemia en las dificultades alimentarias de niños con TEA. Población y métodos. Se invitó a participar a cuidadores de niños con TEA no sindromático (edad: 2-18 años) de una unidad de neurodesarrollo. Los participantes respondieron en línea un cuestionario y la escala de evaluación de problemas de conducta alimentaria (BPFAS por su sigla en inglés) antes y durante el primer año de pandemia. Se calculó un puntaje de prioridad (producto entre promedio de frecuencia y problema) para cada ítem del BPFAS. Resultados. El 56,6 % (86/152) de los cuidadores contestó la encuesta (madre 74,4 %), mediana de edad 6,3 años (p25-p75: 4,7-8,2); el 80,2 % de los niños eran de sexo masculino; el 58,1 % mantuvo terapia durante la pandemia y el 61,6 % presentaba problemas de comportamiento previo a esta. Durante el primer año de pandemia, los niños presentaron mayor intensidad en dificultades conductuales (34,9 %) y de alimentación (61,6 %); sin embargo, el 31,4 % refirió mejoría en la alimentación. No existieron diferencias significativas entre puntajes BPFAS antes y durante la pandemia. Los ítems con mayor puntaje de prioridad fueron "se levanta de la mesa durante la hora de comer", "no probar alimentos nuevos", "no come verduras", "no come frutas". Conclusiones. Hubo alta frecuencia de dificultades en las conductas alimentarias durante el primer año de pandemia. No se presentaron diferencias en las características de estas conductas antes y durante la pandemia.


Introduction. Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have difficulties adapting to stressful situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective. To assess the impact of the first year of the pandemic on feeding difficulties in children with ASD. Population and methods. The caregivers of children and adolescents with non-syndromic ASD (age: 2­18 years) from a neurodevelopment unit were invited to participate. Participants completed a questionnaire and the Behavioral Pediatrics Feeding Assessment Scale (BPFAS) online before and during the first year of the pandemic. A priority score (product between the average frequency and the problem) for each BPFAS item was estimated. Results. Among the caregivers, 56.6% (86/152) completed the survey (mother: 74.4%); children's median age was 6.3 years (p25­p75: 4.7­8.2); 80.2% of children were males; 58.1% continued with their therapy during the pandemic; and 61.6% had behavioral problems before the pandemic. During the first year of the pandemic, children had greater behavioral problems (34.9%) and feeding difficulties (61.6%); however, 31.4% of caregivers referred improvements in feeding. There were no significant differences in the BPFAS scores before and during the pandemic. The following items obtained the highest priority scores: gets up from table during meal, does not try new food, does not eat vegetables, does not eat fruits. Conclusions. A high frequency of feeding difficulties was noted during the first year of the pandemic. No differences were observed in feeding characteristics before and during the pandemic.

ABSTRACT

Introdução: A procura pela cirurgia de contorno corporal após a cirurgia bariátrica se deve em grande parte a uma insatisfação com a imagem corporal prejudicada pela flacidez e excesso de pele decorrente da grande perda ponderal. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a qualidade de vida e a imagem corporal de pacientes submetidos a cirurgia bariátrica e posteriormente a cirurgia de contorno corporal em uma clínica privada. Método: Este estudo transversal comparou 4 grupos distintos de 21 pacientes cada, pareados por índice de massa corporal e idade antes de realizarem a cirurgia bariátrica. Foram divididos nos tempos antes/depois da cirurgia bariátrica e antes/depois da cirurgia de contorno corporal, formando assim os grupos A, B, C e D, respectivamente. Foi utilizado o questionário SF-36 para avaliação da qualidade de vida e a Escala de Silhuetas proposta por Kakeshita para avaliação da imagem corporal. Para o nível de significância, foi escolhido p<0,05. Resultados: Houve melhora em todos os domínios do SF-36 após a cirurgia bariátrica. Os pacientes que procuraram a cirurgia de contorno corporal apresentaram o menor valor do componente de saúde mental, com pouca alteração após a cirurgia de contorno corporal. Quase todos os grupos superestimaram a sua silhueta, exceto para o grupo de 6 meses após a cirurgia bariátrica, que se viu menor. Conclusão: Pacientes bariátricos que procuram a cirurgia de contorno corporal apresentam escores inferiores de qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde mental e que permanecem menores após a cirurgia de contorno corporal. A distorção da imagem corporal e expectativas irreais podem justificar esse achado.


Introduction: The demand for body contouring surgery after bariatric surgery is largely due to dissatisfaction with body image impaired by sagging and excess skin resulting from massive weight loss. This study aimed to evaluate the quality of life and body image of patients undergoing bariatric surgery and body contouring surgery in a private clinic. Method: This cross-sectional study compared 4 groups of 21 patients, matched by body mass index and age before undergoing bariatric surgery. They were divided into times before/after bariatric surgery and before/after body contouring surgery, thus forming groups A, B, C, and D, respectively. The SF-36 questionnaire assessed the quality of life, and the Silhouette Scale proposed by Kakeshita to assess body image. For the significance level, p<0.05 was chosen. Results: There was an improvement in all SF-36 domains after bariatric surgery. Patients who sought body contouring surgery had the lowest mental health component value, with little change after body contouring surgery. Almost all groups overestimated their silhouette, except for the group of 6 months after bariatric surgery, which saw itself as smaller. Conclusion: Bariatric patients seeking body contouring surgery have lower mental health-related quality of life scores that remain lower after body contouring surgery.

Ainda é desconhecido o papel da amizade enquanto constitutiva da rede de apoio social nos transtornos alimentares (TAs). Esta revisão integrativa teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre relações de amizade em pessoas com TAs. Foram consultadas as bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, de 2010 a 2020. Dos 1126 artigos recuperados, 15 preencheram os critérios de elegibilidade. A maioria tem abordagem qualitativa e delineamento transversal, sem indicar referencial teórico. Aspectos qualitativos das relações de amizade foram associados com redução da frequência e intensidade de sintomas quando o vínculo era considerado de boa qualidade. Já amizades que envolviam comentários depreciativos e influências negativas acerca do corpo e hábitos alimentares foram considerados fatores de risco para desencadeamento dos transtornos. Investir na qualidade dos relacionamentos entre pares pode contribuir para fortalecer a rede de proteção social e reduzir a vulnerabilidade psicossocial de adolescentes com risco para desenvolver TAs. There is still little knowledge about the role of friendship within the social support network in eating disorders (EDs). This integrative review aimed to analyze the scientific production about friendship relationships in people with EDs. The literature review was conducted using the PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science, and EMBASE databases in the period from 2010 to 2020. Among the 1126 articles retrieved, 15 met the eligibility criteria, most with a qualitative approach and cross-sectional design, without indicating a theoretical framework. The qualitative aspects of friendship were associated with a reduced frequency and intensity of symptoms when the bond was considered to be of good quality. On the other hand, friendships that involved derogatory comments and negative influences related to body image and eating habits emerged as potential risk factors for triggering disorders. Investing in the quality of peer relationships can contribute to strengthening the social safety net and reducing the psychosocial vulnerability of adolescents at higher risk for developing EDs. El papel de la amistad como constitutiva de la red de apoyo social en los trastornos alimentarios (TAs) es aún desconocido. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica sobre las relaciones de amistad en personas con TAs. Se consultaron las bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, entre 2010 y 2020. De los 1126 artículos recuperados, 15 cumplían los criterios de elegibilidad. La mayoría tiene enfoque cualitativo y diseño transversal, sin indicar el marco teórico. Los aspectos cualitativos de las relaciones de amistad se asociaron con una menor frecuencia/intensidad de los síntomas cuando el vínculo se consideraba de buena calidad. Amistades que implicaban comentarios despectivos e influencias negativas sobre el cuerpo y los hábitos alimentarios se consideraron factores de riesgo. Invertir en la calidad de las relaciones entre pares puede contribuir a reforzar la red de protección social y reducir la vulnerabilidad de adolescentes con riesgo de desarrollar TAs. (AU)

A teoria psicanalítica postula que as raízes emocionais dos transtornos alimentares (TAs) remontam à relação precoce mãe-filha. Este estudo qualitativo teve como objetivo investigar os significados atribuídos por mães de pacientes com anorexia e bulimia às experiências de gravidez, parto, puerpério e cuidados básicos oferecidos às filhas nos primeiros anos de vida. Participaram sete mães cujas filhas encontravam-se em seguimento em um serviço especializado para TAs. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista aberta e organizados em categorias de acordo com a análise temática reflexiva. Os resultados foram discutidos à luz da Teoria do Amadurecimento Emocional de Winnicott. As experiências relacionadas à maternidade e aos cuidados maternos foram marcadas por frustrações e emoções negativas, com poucas recordações de vivências gratificantes advindas da assunção ao papel de mãe. São discutidas as repercussões emocionais da não elaboração de conflitos transgeracionais recebidos das gerações anteriores e transmitidos sem transformação pelas mães, o que contribui para inibir o amadurecimento emocional das filhas, guardando possível relação com a vulnerabilidade aos sintomas de TAs. Psychoanalytic theory postulates that the emotional foundations of eating disorders (EDs) rest in the early mother-daughter relationship. This qualitative study aimed to investigate the meanings attributed by mothers of patients with anorexia and bulimia to the experiences of pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium, and basic care provided to their daughters in the first years of life. Participants included 7 mothers whose daughters were being treated in a specialized service for EDs. Data were collected by open interviews and organized into categories according to reflexive thematic analysis. Results were discussed in light of Winnicott's Theory of Human Maturation. The experiences related to motherhood and maternal care were marked by frustrations and negative emotions, with few memories of rewarding experiences with the assumption of the maternal role. The potential repercussions arising from the non-elaboration of intergenerational conflicts inherited and transmitted without transformation by mothers were discussed. These implications could potentially hinder the emotional maturation of daughters, establishing a close relation with the symptoms of EDs. (AU)

Este estudio cualitativo tuvo como objetivo investigar los significados atribuidos por madres de pacientes con anorexia y bulimia a las vivencias del embarazo, parto, puerperio y cuidados básicos brindados a sus hijas en los primeros años de vida. Participaron siete madres cuyas hijas estaban siendo atendidas en un servicio especializado en TAs. Los datos fueron recolectados por entrevista abierta y organizados en categorías de acuerdo con el análisis temático reflexivo. Los resultados fueron discutidos a la luz de la Teoría del Desarrollo Emocional de Winnicott. Las experiencias relacionadas con la maternidad y el cuidado materno estuvieron marcadas por frustraciones y emociones negativas, con pocos recuerdos de experiencias gratificantes con la asunción del rol materno. Se discuten las posibles repercusiones de la no elaboración de conflictos transgeneracionales recibidos y transmitidos sin transformación por parte de las madres, lo que contribuye a inhibir la maduración emocional de las hijas, guardando una estrecha relación con los síntomas de los TAs. Abstract Introduction Interventions based on cognitive dissonance theory are the most effective for preventing eating disorders. Objective To identify the changes at one year follow-up of a universal prevention intervention in disordered eating behaviors (DEB), thin-ideal internalization (TII), and drive for muscularity (DM). Method A pre-experimental, pretest-posttest study was conducted on 602 university student subjects (76.1% women and 23.9% men) with an average age of 20.74 years at a public (30.6%) and a private university (69.4%) in Mexico City. A Split Plot ANOVA was performed with the intrasubject variable equal to each measurement (pretest, posttest, and follow-up), as well as the sex and body mass index (BMI) intersubject variables to analyze whether there was a significant interaction between these variables and the changes in dependent variables, as well as the changes through each measurement by group. Results In the intrasubject analyses, statistically significant differences were found for DEB through the various measurements, without taking the interactions into account. Statistically significant interactions were observed between each measurement and BMI, and between each measurement and sex and BMI for the DM variable. Discussion and conclusion Since a reduction of TII in women and DM in men was achieved, together with a decrease in DEB in women, the workshop can be said to have fully achieved its objectives for women and partly so for men.


Resumen Introducción Las intervenciones basadas en la teoría de la disonancia cognoscitiva son las más efectivas para la prevención de los trastornos de la conducta alimentaria. Objetivo Conocer los cambios a un año de seguimiento de una intervención de prevención universal en las conductas alimentarias de riesgo (CAR), interiorización del ideal estético de la delgadez (IED) y la motivación por la musculatura (MM). Método Se llevó a cabo un estudio pre-experimental pretest-postest en 602 (76.1% mujeres y 23.9% hombres) sujetos estudiantes universitarios con una edad promedio de 20.74 años en una universidad pública (30.6%) y una privada (69.4%) de la Ciudad de México. Se realizó un ANOVA split plot con la variable intrasujetos igual a cada medición (pretest, postest y seguimiento) así como el sexo y el índice de masa corporal (IMC) variables intersujetos, para analizar si existía una interacción significativa entre dichas variables y los cambios sobre las variables dependientes, así como los cambios a través de cada medición por grupo. Resultados en los análisis intrasujetos se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas para las CAR a través de las distintas mediciones, sin tomar en cuenta las interacciones. Se observaron interacciones estadísticamente significativas entre cada medición y el IMC, y entre cada medición con el sexo y el IMC para la variable MM. Discusión y conclusión Se logró la reducción de la IED en las mujeres y de la MM en los hombres, así como la disminución de las CAR en las mujeres por lo que se considera que el taller logra sus objetivos para las mujeres y parcialmente para los varones.

ABSTRACT

Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar el programa "Everybody has a body" para la prevención de trastornos de la conducta alimentaria (TCA) y obesidad en población preadolescente, que se ha impartido en varias escuelas de España durante el año 2021, contando con una muestra compuesta por 179 preadolescentes de entre 10 y 12 años. Este programa, elaborado por las investigadoras, tiene un carácter innovador, puesto que integra la prevención de los TCA y la obesidad, desde un enfoque que fomenta un estilo de vida saludable, a través del desarrollo de una conciencia crítica con los cánones de belleza, fortalecimiento de la autoestima e imagen corporal, entre otros. El impacto del programa ha sido positivo, y los participantes han mejorado en todas las dimensiones evaluadas. Los resultados obtenidos manifiestan, sin lugar a dudas, la necesidad de educar en salud en las escuelas. Se postula como una exigencia para cualquier sistema educativo, más allá de las fronteras nacionales, puesto que los TCA y la obesidad se han convertido en un problema global, que afecta a gran parte del planeta, minando la salud y calidad de vida de las personas, generando grandes costes económicos a los gobiernos y aumentando las desigualdades sociales.


Abstract This article presents the program entitled "Everybody has a body" for the prevention of eating behavior disorders (ED) and obesity in the preadolescent population. It was taught in several schools in Spain during the year 2021, with a sample composed of 179 tweens between 10 and 12 years old. This program, developed by the researchers, is innovative since it integrates the prevention of eating disorders and obesity, from an approach that promotes a healthy lifestyle, through the development of a critical awareness of the canons of beauty, strengthening self-esteem and body image, among others. The impact of the program has been positive, and the participants have improved in all the dimensions evaluated. The results obtained show, without a doubt, the need for health education in schools. It is postulated as a requirement for any educational system, beyond national borders, since eating disorders and obesity have become a global problem that affects a large part of the planet, undermining people's health and quality of life, generating large economic costs for governments and increasing social inequalities.

A decisão de escolha do método contraceptivo em situações clínicas especiais é desafiadora tanto para médicos quanto para pacientes. Em parte, isso se deve às contraindicações reais que alguns contraceptivos apresentam. Porém, há uma estreita relação com a falta de conhecimento e medo de muitos profissionais em prescrever métodos que, na realidade, são seguros. A má escolha do método contraceptivo para pacientes portadoras de condições específicas pode levar a diversos desfechos ruins, como piora da condição de base, ocorrência de eventos adversos indesejáveis e preveníveis e ocorrência de gravidez de alto risco indesejada. Dessa forma, foi realizada uma revisão na literatura com o objetivo de auxiliar profissionais médicos na decisão contraceptiva de pacientes portadoras de doenças reumatológicas e musculoesqueléticas, epilepsia, esclerose múltipla, transtornos alimentares, anemia falciforme e obesidade, e que já foram submetidas a cirurgia bariátrica.(AU)


The decision to choose the contraceptive method in special clinical situations is challenging for both physicians and patients. In part, this is due to the real contraindications that some contraceptives present. However, there is a close relationship with the lack of knowledge and fear of many professionals in prescribing methods that are actually safe. The poor choice of contraceptive method in patients with specific conditions can lead to several bad outcomes, such as worsening of the baseline condition, occurrence of undesirable and preventable adverse events and occurrence of an unwanted high-risk pregnancy. Thus, a literature review was carried out in order to assist medical professionals in the contraceptive decision of patients with rheumatological and musculoskeletal diseases, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, eating disorders, sickle cell anemia, obesity and who have already undergone bariatric surgery.(AU)

Introduction: Indians are experiencing nutritional and lifestyle transitions due to globalization and westernization. The study aimed to find out the current eating patterns and body shape concerns and various factors that influence eating behaviors and body shape concerns of late-adolescent girls. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 230 undergraduate adolescent girl university students from 12 departments in the age group of 17–19 years. Eating attitude and body shape concerns of adolescents were determined by using the standard eating attitude test-26 (EAT-26) and body shape questionnaire (BSQ-34). Results: The duration of the study was 6 months and participants were selected by simple random sampling. The mean age of the study subjects was 18.52 (±0.63) years. The majority of subjects had an urban background (85%). Less than half had an exercise routine (44%) which was followed daily. As per body mass index (BMI) distribution, 19.57% were underweight, 11.3% were overweight and only 2.17% were obese. An unfavorable eating attitude was found in 18% of subjects whereas 38.2% had mild to the marked concern of body shape. There was a significant positive correlation between BSQ with BMI (r = 0.387, P ? 0.01) and BSQ-34 with EAT-26 (r = 0.367, P ? 0.01). Conclusion: Current study shows that late adolescent urban females are susceptible to eating disorders and are body image conscious. Institutional mechanisms should be brought in place to address the need of improving their eating habits and modification of lifestyle.

Na criança com Trissomia do 21 a dificuldade alimentar pode estar presente. Alguns sinais são as alterações na habilidade motora-oral, no processamento sensorial, tempo elevado das refeições, recusa alimentar prolongada e falta de autonomia. Ainda pouco se discute sobre as dificuldades alimentares e seu processo terapêutico nesta população. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever a avaliação e intervenção fonoaudiológica e da terapia ocupacional na dificuldade alimentar de uma criança com Trissomia do 21 com o uso de estratégias de alimentação responsiva e integrativa. Criança 3 anos e 2 meses, sexo masculino. Avaliação fonoaudiológica demonstrou criança com distúrbio alimentar pediátrico, caracterizado por atraso na habilidade motora-oral, baixa percepção intraoral e comportamento alimentar altamente seletivo. Na avaliação da terapia ocupacional verificou-se perfil sensorial alterado. Na fonoterapia foram trabalhados aspectos como a percepção do alimento, ritmo e o tempo de alimentação. Na terapia ocupacional, o objetivo foi adequar nível de alerta, favorecer a independência e o desenvolvimento psicomotor. Após a intervenção, a reavaliação fonoaudiológica demonstrou que houve ampliação do cardápio, melhora da percepção, da habilidade motora intraoral, aceitação de diferentes utensílios e modos de apresentação do alimento, autonomia e prazer nas refeições. A reavaliação da terapia ocupacional mostrou um nível de alerta e atenção mais adequado, uso das mãos e dedos de maneira mais funcional para se alimentar. Foram observadas evoluções positivas em relação à intervenção fonoaudiológica e da terapia ocupacional na dificuldade alimentar de uma criança com Trissomia do 21 com o uso de estratégias de alimentação responsiva e integrativa. In children with Trisomy 21 feeding difficulty can be observed, such as changes in oral motor skills, sensory processing, longer mealtimes, food refusal, lack of autonomy and others. However, there is little discussion about feeding difficulties and rehabilitation process in this population. This study aimed to describe speech-language and occupational therapy assessment and intervention in feeding difficulties in a 3-year and 2-month-old male child with a diagnosis of Trisomy 21. Speech-language pathology assessment found that the child had feeding difficulties, delay in oral motor skills, low intraoral perception and acceptance, while the occupational therapy assessment showed an altered sensory profile. The speech-language pathology sessions included aspects such as food perception, rhythm and feeding time. In turn, occupational therapy sessions aimed to adjust the alertness level, promote independence and psychomotor development. After the intervention, the speech-language pathology reassessment showed that there was an expansion of the menu for the ingestion, improvement in perception and intraoral motor skills, acceptance of different utensils and food presentation modes, autonomy and pleasure in meals. The reassessment of occupational therapy showed a better level of alertness and attention, more functional use of hands and fingers to eat. Therefore, a positive progress was observed in the feeding difficulty of a child with Trisomy 21 after a speech-language pathology and occupational therapy intervention with the use of responsive and integrative feeding strategies. Niños con Trisomía 21, pueden presentar dificultades de alimentación. Algunos signos son cambios en las habilidades motrices orales, procesamiento sensorial, tiempos prolongados de comida, rechazo prolongado de alimentos y falta de autonomía. Hay poca discusión sobre las dificultades de alimentación y su proceso terapéutico en esta población. El objetivo deste estudio fue describir la evaluación e intervención fonoaudiológica y de terapia ocupacional en la dificultad de alimentación de un niño con Trisomía 21 utilizando estrategias de alimentación receptiva e integradora. Niño de 3 años y 2 meses. La evaluación fonoaudiológica mostró un trastorno alimentario pediátrico, caracterizado por un retraso en las habilidades motoras orales, percepción intraoral baja y comportamiento alimentario altamente selectivo. En la evaluación de terapia ocupacional se observó un perfil sensorial alterado. En fonoaudiología se trabajaron aspectos como la percepción de alimentos, ritmo y tiempo de alimentación. En terapia ocupacional, el objetivo fue ajustar el nivel de alerta, favoreciendo la independencia y desarrollo psicomotor. Después de la intervención, la reevaluación fonoaudiológica se evidenció una ampliación del menú, mejoras en percepción, motricidad intraoral, aceptación de diferentes utensilios y formas de presentar alimentos, autonomía y placer en las comidas. La reevaluación de terapia ocupacional mostró un nivel de alerta y atención más adecuado, uso de manos y dedos de forma más funcional para alimentarse. Fueron observadas evoluciones positivas con relación a la intervención fonoaudiológica y de terapia ocupacional en la dificultad de alimentación de un niño con Trisomía 21 con el uso de estrategias de alimentación receptiva e integradora. Objetivo: Analizar las conductas alimentarias de riesgo, en relación al estado nutricional y actividad física en jóvenes adultos durante la pandemia COVID-19 en las comunas de Chillán y Chillán Viejo. Método: Diseño observacional y transversal. Se obtuvo una muestra de 184 adultos jóvenes de ambos sexos, que residían en dos comunas de la región de Ñuble (Chile) durante el periodo de confinamiento por la pandemia COVID-19. Se les aplicó un cuestionario de antecedentes personales y la escala SCOFF que evalúa el riesgo de trastornos de la conducta alimentaria (TCA). Resultados: Se encontró un 37,16% de riesgo para TCA (IC 95%: 30,23 - 44,63%). El riesgo de trastornos de la conducta alimentaria tuvo relación con las variables: actividad física (p = 0,01 análisis bivariante) y estado nutricional (p = 0,03, análisis ajustado). Conclusión: Se logró identificar una proporción superior a la registrada en la literatura y los factores asociados a TCA eran los que se esperaban encontrar.


Objective: To analyze risky eating behaviors in relation to nutritional status and physical activity in young adults during the COVID-19 pandemic in the communes of Chillán and Chillán Viejo. Methods: Observational and cross-sectional design. A sample of 184 young adults of both sexes, who lived in two communes in the Ñuble region (Chile) during the period of confinement due to COVID-19 pandemic, was obtained. A personal history questionnaire and the SCOFF scale that assesses the risk of eating behavior disorders (EDs) were applied. Results: A 37.16% risk for ED was found (95% CI: 30.23 - 44.63%). The risk of eating behavior disorders was related to the variables: physical activity (p=0.01 bivariate analysis) and nutritional status (p=0.03, adjusted analysis). Conclusion: It was possible to identify a higher proportion than that recorded in the literature and the factors associated with eating disorders were those that were expected to be found.

RESUMO Objetivos: Avaliar se a modelagem paterna, quanto à prática e/ou ao incentivo a dietas, pode predizer comportamentos de risco relacionados a transtornos alimentares (TAs) em crianças e adolescentes. Métodos: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática dos estudos publicados até junho de 2022, disponíveis nas bases de dados indexadas — como PubMed, Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde, SciELO e Cochrane Library. Estudos transversais e longitudinais em línguas portuguesa, espanhola e inglesa foram incluídos e avaliados quanto ao risco de viés de acordo com a NewCastle - Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale . Resultados: Quatorze estudos foram considerados na revisão. A maioria deles é transversal (71,4%), proveniente dos Estados Unidos e de países europeus (57,1%), além de apresentar baixo risco de viés (85,7%). Grande parte dos trabalhos encontrou associações entre o incentivo a dietas por parte dos pais (modelagem direta) e comportamentos de risco em crianças e adolescentes, como o uso de métodos de controle de peso, a insatisfação corporal e a restrição alimentar. Poucos estudos relacionaram o hábito de o pai fazer dieta (modelagem indireta) com esses comportamentos. Conclusões: Os dados embasam a ideia de que a modelagem direta, ou seja, o incentivo verbal ao uso de dietas, pode ser muito danosa, principalmente em indivíduos que têm preocupações excessivas com peso e alimentação. Futuras pesquisas são necessárias para avaliar o impacto das práticas alimentares parentais e o desenvolvimento de possíveis ações de prevenção a problemas relacionados ao peso.


ABSTRACT Objectives: To assess whether parental modeling, regarding the practice and/or encouragement of diets, can predict risk behaviors related to eating disorders (EDs) in children and adolescents. Methods: A systematic review of studies published until June 2022, available in indexed databases - such as PubMed, Virtual Health Library, SciELO and Cochrane Library, was carried out. Cross-sectional and longitudinal studies in Portuguese, Spanish and English were included and assessed for risk of bias according to the NewCastle - Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale. Results: Fourteen studies were considered in the review. Most of them are cross-sectional (71.4%), coming from the United States and European countries (57.1%), in addition to presenting a low risk of bias (85.7%). Most of the studies found associations between parental encouragement of diets (direct modeling) and risk behaviors in children and adolescents, such as the use of weight control methods, body dissatisfaction and food restriction. Few studies have related the father's habit of dieting (indirect modeling) with these behaviors. Conclusions: Data support the idea that direct modeling, that is, verbal encouragement to use diets, can be very harmful, especially to individuals who are excessively concerned about weight and food. Future research is needed to assess the impact of parental eating practices and the development of possible actions to prevent weight-related problems.

Los trastornos de conducta alimentaria tienen efectos importantes sobre la salud oral destacándose entre estos por su alta prevalencia la anorexia y bulimia. Evaluar los efectos de la anorexia y bulimia sobre la periodontitis. Se realizó una búsqueda electrónica entre 2017 y 2021 en las bases datos Medline a través de Pubmed, Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source, Scopus, Springer y Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, donde con la estrategia de búsqueda "Anorexia OR Bulimia AND periodontal disease". Se recuperaron 101 registros potencialmente elegibles de los cuales luego de aplicar los criterios de elegibilidad se seleccionaron tres estudios de diseño observacional, cuyos resultados mostraron una asociación de la bulimia y anorexia con la incidencia de complicaciones orales en pacientes ambulatorios, donde la condición periodontal parece ser significativamente peor comparada con pacientes sanos emparejados por sexo y edad, siendo estos hallazgos de alta calidad metodológica o bajo riesgo de sesgo. La anorexia y la bulimia generan un alto impacto sobre la calidad de vida relacionada a la salud oral específicamente sobre el desarrollo de periodontitis. Sin embargo, se requieren de nuevos estudios que logren explicar en su totalidad esta posible relación.

Anorexia and bulimia have a high impact on health-related quality of life oral specifically on the development of periodontitis.However, it is required They want new studies that fully explain this possible relationship.

Objetivo: identificar el impacto de la medida de confinamiento social, decretada por el gobierno colombiano ante el covid-19, sobre los niveles de ansiedad y los comporta­mientos alimentarios de los deportistas adscritos a selecciones Antioquia. Metodología: estudio observacional descriptivo de corte transversal en deportistas de altos logros deportivos de Indeportes Antioquia que fueron atendidos en el área de medicina, entre enero y agosto 2020. Se indagó sobre aspectos de ansiedad y compor­tamientos alimentarios, ocasionados durante la medida de aislamiento social derivada de la pandemia por covid-19. Resultados: la encuesta fue respondida por 150 deportistas. En hombres, la ansiedad aumenta a medida que se incrementa el grupo de edad. En las mujeres, el fenómeno es opuesto. Para la misma calificación de ansiedad alta, el porcentaje va disminuyendo con la edad. Con referencia a los comportamientos relacionados con la alimentación, analizados bajo una circunstancia tan compleja, como es la pandemia por covid-19, permitió a los profesionales del deporte y la salud direccionar recomendaciones efectivas para los deportistas que asesoran, frente al manejo de la ansiedad y el control de ciertos comportamientos negativos que pueden afectar la salud y el rendimiento deportivo. Conclusiones: los resultados con respecto a la ansiedad coinciden con estudios actua­les, en los que, en términos generales, las poblaciones evaluadas muestran niveles de ansiedad baja y esto se relaciona con una escasa tendencia a alteraciones en la conducta alimentaria en la población estudiada.


Objective: to identify the impact of the social confinement measure decreed by the Colombian government in the face of Covid-19 on anxiety levels and eating behaviors in athletes attached to different teams in the department of Antioquia. Methodology: cross-sectional descriptive observational study in athletes with high sports achievements from Indeportes Antioquia, who were treated in the medical area between January and August 2020. Aspects of anxiety and eating behaviors, caused during the social isolation measure derived of the Covid-19 pandemic were studied. Results: the survey was answered by 150 athletes. In men, anxiety increases as the age group increases. In women, the phenomenon is opposite. For the same high anxiety rating, the percentage decreases with age. With reference to behaviors related to eating, analyzed under such a complex circumstance, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, allowed sports and health professionals to direct effective recommendations for the athletes they advise, regarding anxiety management and the control of certain negative behaviors that can affect their health and their performance. Conclusions: the results regarding anxiety coincide with current studies, in which, in general terms, the assessed populations show low levels of anxiety; this is related to a low tendency to alterations in eating behavior in the studied population.

Aspectos de ansiedade e comportamentos alimentares, causados durante a medida de isolamento social derivada do covid-19 pandemia. Resultados: a pesquisa foi respondida por 150 atletas. Nos homens, a ansiedade aumenta à medida que a faixa etária aumenta. Nas mulheres, o fenômeno é oposto. Para a mesma alta taxa de ansiedade, a porcentagem diminui com a idade. No que se refere aos comportamentos relacionados com a alimentação, analisados numa circunstância tão complexa, como é a pandemia de covid-19, permitiu aos profissionais do desporto e da saúde direcionar recomendações eficazes aos atletas que aconselham, no que diz respeito à gestão da ansiedade e ao controlo de determinados comportamentos negativos. que podem afetar a saúde e o desempenho esportivo.Conclusões:os resultados relativos à ansiedade coincidem com os estudos atuais, nos quais, em termos gerais, as populações avaliadas apresentam baixos níveis de ansiedade e isto está relacionado com uma baixa propensão a alterações do comportamento alimentar na população estudada.
